Virag Kovacs

Intern

Hi, my name is V. I’m glad you took the courageous step to invest in your or your loved one’s mental and emotional well-being.  Life can become complicated, even demanding, at times. Past experiences or current challenges can hinder our peace of mind or progress in life. We are not meant to journey alone or know all the answers in the mists of difficulties. Much less to find the way out of painful struggles on our own.  I would be honored to earn the opportunity to welcome you into a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. A space where you feel safe to begin to untangle challenges and difficult situations that you are facing.

How I Help

My passion is to help you and others grow through self-discovery and encourage and guide you to find your inner strengths, resources, and skills to heal and live a fulfilling life.

My Specialties

I look forward to welcoming individuals from any cultural background. My approach to counseling values the authenticity and the complexities of one’s life. I have a special interest in helping people to become curious about deeper, sometimes hidden layers of their story and helping them make sense of experiences that shaped their lives and worldview.

More About Me

I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. As a former athlete and coach, I like to try various sports and outdoor activities. Traveling and learning about different cultures, their music, and their cuisine is one of my ongoing interests.  I have over a decade of experience in corporate and private business. I continuously seek education to enrich my understanding of our world and become better skilled to benefit those I have the privilege to journey with.  Beyond pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, my training includes trauma, mindfulness, family systems, IFS, and multicultural approaches.
