I honor the longing to live your life to its full potential. The complicated and daunting life situations you’re currently experiencing may cause you to feel hopeless and overwhelmed. It takes courage to face these challenges and grow from them. Therapy is not a quick fix but a process and can be uncomfortable at times. However, daring to take this opportunity may bring a deeper understanding of yourself, which can often lead you to healing and freedom. I am here to walk alongside you as your journey progresses.

How I Help

I help you reflect on your strengths while empathizing with your emotional difficulties. In order to help you achieve your therapy goals, I listen to you non-judgmentally and offer alternative perspectives for you to consider. I support you in clarifying your thoughts and emotions, which are often hidden underneath anger, irritability, anxiety and tearfulness. I focus on empowering you (your child) by utilizing non-directive experiential interventions such as Play Therapy and Equine-Assisted Therapy in conjunction with talk therapy. While respecting your values, I speak the truth in love. I support, encourage and celebrate your growth as your self-awareness is enhanced through therapy.

More About Me

I’m an introvert who enjoys sewing and watching cooking shows.  I enjoy getting insights into how emotions, thoughts, upbringing, life experiences, and culture are important in human relationships.  I also enjoy vigorous aerobic workouts, mindfully meditating in the Scripture, and spontaneous hanging out with my husband for coffee at the small cafe in our town.
