Hi, I’m Hannah. Do you ever feel weighed down by the pain and stress in your life? Are you exhausted from trying to dig your way out of feelings of despair, time and time again, only to find yourself just as trapped, and even more exhausted? Maybe you’re tired of wrestling with the same feelings of anxiety that you struggle to escape. Does your relationship feel like it’s filled with more unresolvable conflict than true connection? Maybe you’re in a difficult season, and life feels lonely. I am committed to helping others heal and discover/re-discover their passion for living.

How I Help

My counseling approach starts first and foremost with you. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment for you to come as you are and for us to build an authentic therapeutic relationship. I utilize my faith in Christ as I seek to make sense of our journey. As I hear and honor your story, I listen for emotional, mental, and spiritual themes for us to explore together in depth, and identify your values that will bring rich meaning into action.

My Specialties

Anxiety Counseling and Depression Counseling

Sometimes stressors tend to add up in life, and we feel overwhelmed and hurt by the weight of the pain. This can occur in difficult seasons of transition, or something that our minds and bodies have become accustomed to over time. In our work, we can seek to gain insight into your story and equip you with tools to work towards

healing and growth, and a new relationship with yourself.

Teen Therapy and Identity Development

Our adolescent years are some of the most challenging, but also some of the most formative years of our lives. In my experience working with teens, I seek to provide a non-judgmental space to build awareness and perspective navigating emotions, self- identity, beliefs, relationships, and values. I am passionate in helping teens connect with their families, and utilize their support systems.

Couples Therapy and Marriage Counseling

I am currently pursuing certification through my training in Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT), and work with couples to build upon and restore their emotional connection. If your relationship is going through minor difficulties or even if it feels catastrophic, I can help you heal. I am also certified in premarital counseling, using the Prepare Enrich curriculum to help guide couples through conversations as they begin their marriage.

Trauma

I have received formal training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems therapy and utilize these methods of therapy often to help clients process trauma by healing deeper wounds, rewriting internal narratives, and rewiring neural pathways in the brain. Sometimes, we can logically believe we are okay, but emotionally, our bodies send signals that indicate fear/danger. This can often be a symptom of trauma. If you have noticed similar patterns of pain emerging throughout life, trauma therapy could be a key to moving forward with clarity and confidence.
